I have another question?

once my K3 is approved ...at this time I would like to apply for EAD immediately and then

a few months later apply for AOS separately? (when I have more time to deal with getting

all the documents together)

or does this have to be done at the same time???

thanks in advance!

Denise

Thats fine... K3 are able to file EAD first then when you feel like it AOS....

Just remember to file AOS before your medical runs out (12 months from your overseas medical) and make sure you have a copy of your vaccination record (worksheet) with you, for the I693a if you need extra shots here or just want to send in that form.

I 130 & I129F (K3) and AOS info in timeline

Denise,

As kim&james wrote this is OK to do. In fact there's a benefit to doing it this way, since the EAD you receive as a K3 will be valid until your I-94 expires (a disadvantage for K1s), while the EAD you receive as an applicant for adjustment will be valid for 1 year.
