Strong ties needed on first VWP visit?

Hello, I'd like to visit my USC girlfriend for the first time, we met online a few months ago. I'm a mid 20's Australian citizen. I have never visited the US before and would like to stay for 8-9 weeks, not only to spend time with her, but also to do some tourist activities and meet some other online friends that we share. How likely is it that my ties to home will be an issue at immigration? I'm concerned because if they start to worry about it, I don't have very much - no car, will be quitting my part time job, and won't have an apartment to return to (I'm putting my belongings into storage to save money). I can give more info if needed - previous travel, job specifics, money, etc. Hopefully I am worrying unnecessarily here because I imagine lots of Australians go on holidays and aren't prepared and never questioned. Thanks.

Highly unlikely you'll have any issues unless there are any red flags. You will need a return ticket, and you will need to know about what you plan to do. They will also ask you about how you plan to fund your trip. And you'll need to get your ESTA approval before you leave.

Esta approval, answer U will be staying with friends, have a

RT ticket, at age 20 u should have a job in your own country

I think asking for 9 wks is much, u can always get an extension

when u have entered and telling them U left your job and put your

things in storage is NOT a good idea...U should be a tourist visiting

with friends and make sure u have their phone # and its agreeable

that U R a friend visiting....really u should have no probs
