Questions about K-1 Co-sponsor

We have a co-sponsor... It's my fiance's (USC) father. When asked if he makes over the 125% poverty level he said yes.

However when he sent the info over, he only sent his 2011 tax return and also his birth certificate photocopy for proof that he is a USC.

Unfortunately, according to my fiance who is the only one who has seen it, the line 22 on the tax return is only a bit under half the 125% poverty line limit.

He does however own a home which would bridge the gap x5.

I'm just wondering, without his 2013 tax return and proof of home ownership, will we will get through okay at the interview? Or do we need the most recently tax return and the house deed?
