Question about joint sponsor

Filed: AOS (apr) Country: France

Our interview is in three weeks and we are getting everything ready. Our joint sponsor lives in a different state and we have never met her. She is the best friend/soulmate of one of our best friends (who we have met many times) who was supposed to be our joint sponsor but had a last minute tax issue. He mentioned it to her and she volunteered to help us because she trusts him completely. Since then, she has become our friend, we have talked on the phone a few times, via email a lot, and texting. I was wondering if they ask about who the joint sponsor is at the interview and if it is ever an issue that we haven't met?

My other question: she sent us the copies of her tax returns, w2s, pay stubs, drivers license and social security card, but not originals. We included everything in the application and it was approved, and we also kept a copy of everything for our file. Are we supposed to bring any originals to the interview? I asked her for her IRS transcripts for us to bring and I think she ordered them last week, but not sure they will get to us on time. I just want to make sure everything is done properly.
