Interview Experience.........I was scheduled for K1 interview 18th and Dv on the 19th just the next day to my K1. But i was at the embassy with the both two document.i waited till they call me in for 7am.

I saw this lady working at the gate with the security which i thought i should ask for advice.I finally asked her (ma,please i just want to ask you if you could advice me,because i have another interview tomorrow which i think i might have to leave my passport once the k1 is approved, she just wow, only you and i smile at her and she advice i should tell the co who will interview me when i get inside.

Waiting continue till i get to the interview section sitting down waiting for my name to be called.I heard my name called which i walked to the window.I met another black lady which ask for my int passport, two photograph, police certificate and medical result and my DS forms.

Thereafter i saw this lady i spoke with earlier just at the back of the lady at the window i was waiting.I heard her telling the lady that this is the guy i told u that has two interview scheduled both smile at me and tell me to wait. Then they call there supervisor(Black)while she say to me congratulation and ask if i have the documents for my Dv with me as well, which i said Yes,But i have the 330$ with my brother waiting for me outside the embassy(car park).she gave me a small sheet of paper to go get it and told me to pay to window 21 when am back and after paying i should sit for my number to be called again.

I keep waiting while i look at K1 applicant doing interview,i see this old white man denied most k1 but there was this other white lady giving both k1 and Dv.I just keep praying silently. My number was called again around 10.30 am by this old white man.i just keep on my faith because i don't know which interview i will have to do since they are keeping the two application(K1 and DV).

The CO told me to raised up my right hand and do the oats which i did.Questions asked by the CO

whats Ur highest level of education?answered

have you ever been teaching before?answered

did your fiancee knew about this DV?i told him we do everything together so he smiles

what do you do for work?answered

have u ever traveled out of Nigeria before?Yes

so finally he asked which one do you prefer from the two?i told him me and my fiancee prefer the Dv

he asked why?i just told him because will we have time to plan for our wedding and save the money to file for GC if i had the k1,instead for our wedding.

He show a very big smile and said congrats you are approved for Dv and he gave me a white to pick my visa up next Monday.

Thanks to all vjs family u r all awesome.Big thanks to God almighty.
