Process After NOA2

Hi guys,

So whenever i check the website for my status it just says "petition for I-129F approved Oct 26th . Please follow any instructions on the notice."....It just says it was forward to the listed consulate (nothing is listed though? or is it implied that its NVC?)

My question is should i start contacting USCIS so they can ship it? or should i just wait? i am just being paranoid and just wondering if there are any steps im missing!

K1 right? The system will be in process to ship things to your consulate, via the NVC, without you intervening.

The embassy in London will be the people sending the beneficiary the next set of instructions (called "Packet 3" around here, but it's just a letter with a link to a website and your case "LND" number).

You need to see at uscis page an update saying that the case was shiped to nvc.

After that in 10 or 12 days you are going to get your case number.

Thanks for confirming guys....thats what i figured! Yes its for a k-1 visa.

Don't read that interview thread link. I asked for it to be unpinned because the process and forms have changed so much, it would further confuse you. The list in the first post is still valid except the police certificTe link is changed. You can be doing those things now while you wait on London to get the case.

Get the latest instructions here on the embassy website. http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

London will notify the beneficiary when they are ready for you to start that part. Meanwhile read all the links and start gathering the documents needed for the Interview. Find the medical link on the left. Click anything that says "more" because there is a lot to find on additional pages.

Maybe time to start a 2013/14 NOA2 -> K1 Interview thread? Your old one was *so* useful and it's always been great to have something to point at to get folks started.

Yep. Have one sorta, but then they changed, then changed some more, and then again. Just haven't polished it off...preoccupied with a 16 yr old English nephew visiting (0h good Lord, that was not fun), Obamacare website failure and shock at the high cost, my health insurance open enrollment deadline with massive changes and choices, then credit card closed for fraudulent use. Can't focus long enough to just do that too. VJ is optional and I am a procrastinator. . Soon...........
