hi,

i got all my paper works done. wanted to know if its okay for interview that the divorce decree is a photocopy. fiancee and i didnt think theyl need an original.. please help.

hi there! I had my interview last oct. 30 and I just submitted the photocopy of my fiancé's divorce decree and they never asked for the original although I brought it with me...it still depends though with the consul, case to case basis so as I heard from some people who had their interview days before me that they were asked the original copy and was even given the 221g for those who did not bring it with them...I suggest just submit the photocopy along with your original NBI, affidavit of support, copy of your fiancé's ITR and W2's etc but just to be sure, bring the original with you just encase the consul will ask :0)
