hi; i need please help; i file with my fiance petition i129f for k-1 visa ; ; and we didnt meet ; so uscis recive our case on 8 februry; and i just meet my fiancé this octobre 2013;and uscis demand usc more eidances; do our petition can be approved if we sent evidance ; even we file before we meet ? please help; if any body have same please answer

The requirement is to meet prior to filing within 2 years before you file your petition but I think you are ok if you submit evidence since that USCIS received our case and request for my evidence.

I am not quite sure with your situation here. Hope other VJ-er with the same experience or more experience than I do can help you with your situation.

K1 (I-129F) petition filed in August 2013 (Approved Feb 20th 2014)
13th May 2014: AOS (I-485) & EAD/AP combo card
21st May 2014: NOA 1 and biometric letter
11th June 2014: biometric appointment
13th June 2014: RFE received via mail
16th June 2014: replied to RFE
6th August 2014: EAD Approved, AP still in initial review
12th August 2014: got tracking number for EAD
( ) August 2014: Received EAD (I forgot what date I got them but I did receive them less than 5 days from the 12th)
10th September 2014: Interview Waiver received (I wished I was interviewed)
April 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice

The I-129F instructions say you must have met within 2 years before filing the petition. The only exceptions are established customs in you or your fiances culture or hardship prevents meeting. The two exceptions are not easy to prove.

Sounds like they are looking for plane ticket stubs proving you have met. Unfortunately your application will most likely be denied. Having met before filing is one of the major requirements.

Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.

i think it would be better cancel this petition and refile all over again because this would cause problems on the interview date since the requirements is to meet in person before you file not after good luck hopefully someone with better knowledge would come and correct me :) good luck
