Physical Files at USEM

that's entirely bizarre, your experience with the DoS Hotline.

Usually, if you ask: Is the casefile opened yet? they will answer you, directly.

I probably got a very irate person on the line. She didn't sound like she was having a good day and just kept talking over me. I'll try again later. I have been extremely unlucky in getting a normal person on the phone from USCIS, NVC and sometimes with DOS too. I get irate ones, people that sound high, super sleepy or accents I can't understand at all. Anyhow, I will try again, that for sure.

I have a feeling USEM already has my files, they just haven't "processed" it in yet.... Much like when NVC says they don't have it yet, you call the next day, and they say we got the files yesterday tongue_ss.gif

So I called DOS again today.

I asked if the casefile was opened yet.

1st attempt answer: Allow a few weeks for Manila to go through your files

2nd attempt: Please call NVC or Manila for more information. (then he gave me the NVC number and office hours)

3rd attempt: No. The files haven't been opened yet but we would see if it was opened on our end. Call again in a few days.

4th attempt: I got the "allow a few weeks" lady again.
