Hello guys,

I recently got my US citizenship and want to file for green cards for my parents and siblings. From what I gathered from the I-130 intrsuctions/requirements, I believe I need to send:

1. Copies of my US passport and Naturalization certificate to estable proof of my citizenship.
2. Copy of my birth certificate that shows my name and my mothers' name to prove relationship.
3. Copies of my siblings' birth certificates that of course shows that we have the same parent(s).

Here are my questions:

1. I have my birth certificate from the hospital I was born in that of course shows my mothers name; the thing is that the spellings of her name are different on my birth certificate from the spellings of her name that are on her passport. Now, on question 7 on the I-130 they ask for any other names that my mother may have used; if I enter her name there as it is spelled on my birth certificate, and enter her passport name in answer to question 1, would it be acceptable to USCIS?

2. Also, when I filed for my GC, USCIS DID NOT accept my hospital birth certificate and I had to submit a state issued and translated domicile form as my birth cert. So would they accept my hospital birth cert for my mothers' GC app?

3. Similarly, would they accept hospital birth certs for my siblings apps?

4. Also I'm thinking, as for my siblings spouses and kids, I do not have to file seperate I-130 forms for them at this point, correct? I think I just have to send forms for my brother and sister at this point. Please tell me if I am wrong.

Sorry about the long post and I would really appreciate all help/advice.

Thanks.

Answer: They wont accept any hospital birth certificates. It has to be a long form BC issued by local municipal corporation registered with them.. in whichever city you were born in Pakistan. Now if you dont have one ,you have to get a delayed birth registered certificate. Still you would need secondary evidence cus they send RFE's required further evidene to prove the relationship between your mother and you. and also your siblings.. It could be your Hospital birth certi,School certificate stating both your parents name,Affidavits from relatives who had knowledge of your birth and relationship with your mother,, could be uncles or aunts etc.. ,Census records etc. domiicile document etc..

Btw did you get a new domicile certificate made for GC?or it was issued many years ago?

your siblings case they need to have proper long form registered BC too.. and Nadra Family registration certificate would help too or Computerized form B's if guys have one.. stating all of you and parents
