location of medical examinations

I don't see any posts about this, but can we get medical examination in Shanghai prior to the visa interview? Everyone seems to do it in GZO, which is understandable, but we are going to be in Shanghai the week of the interview and having medical there might be less disruptive to our trip. The usatraveldocs site lists various locations, including Shanghai and Beijing (in addition to GZO) so is it safe to assume getting the examination there is OK?

Also: Does anybody know if in Shanghai we can get a same day medical evaluation and receive the results the same day (which seems to be the norm in GZO)?

My mom did in Shanghai. You have to call to make an appointment. She received her medical report in 3 days. Bring 6 passport photos and P4 letter.

My mom told me only in Guangzhou. SH earliest 3 days.
