Hi all!

I just returned from Vancouver with my sealed medical envelope and chest X-ray!

after reading other peoples experiences and tips it was pretty much right on!

I was told to be there at 6:30 AM, got there with coffee in hand at 6:15 AM and

there were already 6 people ahead of me! I was lucky to fill out my medical

form fast and handed it in to the desk to get #2 spot! waited till 7:45 am and

called 4 of us for blood tests. next room was X ray and by this time it was 7:20 am

it was fast...the wait was for the Dr to come in and start processing us at 8 am.

I think I was 3rd for his routine check and I was done at 8:45 am and was told

to return at 2 PM for results. In total there was 18 of us. The only thing that

hurt was the $275 fee (Ouch!)

as for out of towners wanting to stay near the office building. The Dr's office is

located right across the street from St Pauls Hospital. The Burrard Motor Inn

is right next door. Definately a low end hotel. otherwise there is the Century

Plaza Hotel next to St Pauls Hospital and then there is the Sheraton Wall Center

now waiting for my interview appointment!!!!

It was 2 pages...but you were only asked to fill out your name and passport number DOB

etc. then section 2 of your medical history yes or no. and then read the legal

liability stuff...hand write 2 lines and sign! that was it! Too simple!

nothing major!

Think of me on your medical date...its my birthday! LOL
