Hi Fellows:

I need support on my I-134 form, affidavit of support. My US Citzen fiance was honrable discharged from U.S. Navy in October 2012 after serving for five years (2007-2012). Since he was discharged he started studying (within a U.S. Military Benefit Program) he does not have a job since that time. He also applied for a monthly benefit within the Unemployment Department and he is also collecting money from there.

Do you think we can consider he is unemployed due to his school program paid by the military and have his income from the unemployment benefit as a proof to fill I-134 requirements?

Thank you. Any advice is welcomed.

Yes,

We could have his mom and/or daddy as a co-sponsor.

You mean that the unemployment income is not accepted?

His unemployment income counts as earnings and is accepted. However, it is not considered as stable earning. So you will need a co-sponsor to back it up.
