First of all thanks for all the great information I have gotten through this journey. Today my wife got her interview scheduled for november 1 at Consulate in Rio de Janeiro and we are on the waiting with a mix of fear and happiness at the same time but hopeful also. We still have some doubts about the interview such as would they mail a letter to us or just the email, we have to prepare any packet for the day?(if possible something like a checklist), also some tips for us. Once again thanks for everything!!! =)

You can find the checklist on the consulate website. You should receive a letter confirming the date. Good luck!

I saw something about a Packet 4, its only for K1- Fiance visa right?

We're doing the fiancé visa so we'll have packet 4, which is basically the documentation that we have to bring to the consulate at the time of the interview. The spousal visa is handled differently because the spouse gets the GC upon arrival in the US, while the fiancé still has to go through the Adjustment of Status process in the US before receiving the GC.
