How long it takes before they inform you interview date?

i know!! When they schedule people, do they do it based on case number order, or type of visa. u would think that it is case numbers. does anyone know, how they schedule? based on what? like is there an order?

Wow, you've been waiting for an appointment for quite awhile! I don't know much about the Egyptian consulate, but from previous posts it seems like they are pretty slow. I hope you get sorted soon!

i can't believe they only scheduled 1 k1 visa interview for october.....and with the government shutting down probably doesn't even matter cause the embassy will most like close consular services and have to reschedule.....more waiting guys.....just when u think it can't get worse it does our own government shuts down....

btw.....why is VJ deleting all posts about the government shutdown....including my own post about it???

okay so i just spoke to the congressmen office and they said that they way the embassy schedules the interviews is based on when it was review(received) and not based on what type of visa it is.. sooo yeah i hope that it true.

PLus i noticed something: people who sent they packet 3 earlier get interview earlier. I believe that interviews are based on packet 3 order. and not ANOVA approval becuase there are people who got approved earlier but send packer 3 later and didn't get interview while some who got approved later and sent packet 3 earlier and got interview.

that's true ... the problem is .. why specially the K1 visas is not much at the interview table on the embassy website ? in August it was 16 k1 visas interviews and in September was 8 k1 interviews only .. and October k1 interviews only one ... that's drive me crazy

the time period they working on.. maybe didn't have k1 visa. i means there is no way they are favoring certain type of visas

hi everybody , don`t care about the schedule on the website .. iam not on the schedule but the embassy called me yesterday and give me inteview date at October 7th .. i sent packet 3 back on May 28th so it seems like it take 4 month.. good luck everyone
