CEAC STATUS

Hi!

My status from CEAC, has the same " READY", but changed the date (today).. what does that mean?

I called DOS yesterday , and they didn't have my appointment date yet.... Does that mean they have my appointment date?

I'm mentally fighting with DECEMBER/HOLIDAYS...

In my country we had to call the embassy or check their website to book appointment. It took 2 weeks before they finally open up days for k-1 interviews.

I sent them one today.. .They reply saying it may take 60-90 days....... (not a good answer) )

if you have your SDO number you could go to the us embassy in dominican republic and check the interview list. They already have the interviews from now until December on their website.

I got screwed and I'm stuck with thanksgiving week so the flights are super expensive.

I heard that the last week of every month the interview list is updated. I've been calling DOS to see if they are willing to give me a date but they claim that until the papers dont reach DR the date is not set.....

I don't know when your case left NVC but mine left yesterday and I've been tracking it below is my result

The embassy has my case since sept. 9 ... .... Check your status at ceac web page, with your nvc number, the embassy should have received your case by now.

They already posted the citas for Sept. Oct Nov and December on the US embassy website. I hope that doesn't mean that you guys have to wait until January for a date. my interview date is 3 months away from the date it was received in DR.
