Good afternoon all,

My fiancee will be crossing into the US on Friday.

I have a couple of questions regarding border policies.

She will be crossing the border using her own car (Mexican license plates), the car

will be covered (insurance) while she drives in the US.

She is only using her car to bring some personal belonging, nothing exotic or expensive.

Would she be also taxed, or could I just drive the car by myself into Mexico and have her fly into

San Diego or Los Angeles?

I truly appreciate all the help I could receive before hand.

Thank you
