i got my sputum result last Sept. 12 (negative results hurraayyyy!) and i came back to SLEC Sept. 13, had a shot of vaccine and went home with my CD. my interview date is Oct. 16.dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

my fiance works with an airline company so he enrolled me under his flying benefits, thus we don't need to purchase a plane ticket going to the US, hopefully at the end of Oct when he's back to get me. however, we are planning to fly from DMIA Clark, Angeles going to Hong Kong for the main reasons that it will be hard for us to get a seat if we are flying from NAIA since we are chance passengers and Clark is just 30mins away from my place. we just have to purchase Air Asia tickets for that trip. and from Hong Kong, we will board a trip of United Airlines going to SFO as my POE. my question is, won't there be any problem if i won't be flying from NAIA? do you think the flight plan will be fine as long as i have all my docs, CFO stickers and paid any necessary tax/ fee at DMIA airport? i know we need to pay a tax fee at the airport before the departure. i just want to make sure i won't have any hassles at the airport in going out of the country. TIA

You will not have any issue paying the travel tax at Clark, they have an office there in the departure lounge.

just thinking, maybe i will be allowed to exit from Clark since i have a US visa (K1) on my passport by then and we can also show a copy of our connecting flights from HK-SFOdancin5hr.gif. im sure those facts will make a difference from those that doesn't have a US visa on hand.

You will be just fine flying out of Clark, no one will give you issues about where you are flying to.

She probably will,,,,BUT and the elaphant in the room is the fact that immigration officials there do what they can to block

Pinay traveling with foreigner guy because of human trafficking etc,,BECAUSE of the fact the entertainment industry there is under a microscope

by the gov't. I am a member of several "monger" forums and these guys take Pinay to thailand and other SEA destinations.

alot of them get hassled. Its a fact Hank,,dont shoot the messenger,,,most of you live in this fantasy land where if you have everything in order nothing will go wrong,,,in the philippines especially,,,this is simply not true

stop trying to sugar coat everything,,,,there is alot of evil in the world,,,sad fact but true.

my advice to the OP:

Get your fiancee to come of his wallet and pony up for some revenue tickets,,,and depart from MNL

like most do without hassle. If you try and do out of the ordinary things like revenue out of CRK and space a from HKG its nothing but headche.

I know I have traveled extensively. unlike other keyboard warriors on here

I know what you're saying, Niblet, they certainly WILL look hard at her because of the location. But as long as she has visa, CFO, and envelope, it shouldn't be a problem.

The only thing I can find recent about CRK and not being able to get out is where the girls didn't have their CFO stamp in this post: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/432385-they-didnt-board-my-mom/page-2#entry6278624

well Dave your in the wrong Forum if you want REAL info on traveling out of CRK with a Pinay. You need to be on a mongering forum to get

the real hard answers. Not too many could "stomach" that I fear, so I will simply tell you.

The OP asked an honest question,,I gave an honest, educated, informed answer. I can answer because I have experience in this area.

unlike others who simply parrot what they see on the internet. I've been there,,I have spent more time in the Philippines than some filipinos on this board. So I feel qualified to make a statement concerning the op's question.

Like I said, I understand your point. What we need here, if you can bring it from another forum, is facts about travel in/out of CRK. On those mongering sites, are guys having problems getting women out who are legal? As in... has the K1 process been done properly? I've done it a coupla times, but I am a USC, so it's apples and kumquats there.

There is no doubt in my mind that trying to get a girl outta the country without that is nigh on to impossible. Heck, tourist visas are tough to come by in the PI. Just to get Roxy a visa to go to Korea from the US (since she is still on a PI passport) I had to show a bank balance of at least $3000 as "proof" that she wasn't going to try and stay in Korea.

... rumor and innuendo are just that. Without links to official information I don't get BS any value. Give a link from CFO (they deal with the trafficking issue), or other official sites stating that exiting from Clark International Airport is a problem with K-1 visa holders, or stop spreading worthless dribble.

"Show me the beef"... not the BS....

Clark and NAIA are both international airports, the Filipina has a valid passport with a valid U.S. visa and valid CFO sticker, processing through either airport will not be any different. As for buying airfare, there are a fair number here on VJ that have used air miles or other such "free" travel without issue also.

aww heck your right hank,,what do I know? proof? official? those 2 words dont exist in the PI you need to get away from the computer more often

the real world is not black and white
