Lyn was approved for her Visa on Sept 12th. We are now in AP. I know this is normal and she should receive her passport/visa within 2 weeks from 2GO. I can't wait to see my girl and decided to risk it. I will be in Cebu to pick her up on the 25th of September and we depart together for the US on October 1st. She has already completed her CFO and just needs to go back for her sticker. Wish us luck! Is there anyway to get faster processing at the USEM to ensure we won't have a problem? Will calling the USEM help?

Thanks All, this has been a smooth journey so far with no surprises thanks to this great community!

I'm currently paying for a hotel room in Manila because I didn't know the whole visa approval process. Meaning...interview, approved...status, ready, AP, issued, in transit then pick up at 2GO. We called USEM a few times with zero luck, they really don't care. So just be patient, I think you allowed enough time? At least I didn't buy the plane ticket smile.png , but I hope soon, we been in issued status for a few days now.

Good Luck

Anyone who is a member here SHOULD know that it takes a while. Months sometimes, but certainly weeks. It is truly a test in patience and understanding. Sprinkled with a hearty dose of frustration.

With all the research I did, somehow I missed how long it takes. Everything that I read was "3 Days" if you used MOA pickup, DOH! We're coming up on 10 days since the interview, so we hope to have the visa within the next 5-6 days.

How did I miss that, haha?

You're not the first, and surely won't be the last. Best thing to do now is just make the best of your "vacation" and enjoy your time in MNL. Visit Makati.

MOA may only save a day, maybe two at best.

Embassy also states that it can take up to two weeks for delivery after the issuance of the visa.

I thought the same thing also that by having it picked up in MOA would be faster but I guess not. Took us about 2 weeks for my fiance's visa to be ready.

Aug 27 - interview

Aug 27-Sept 4 - READY

Sept 5 - Sept 9- ISSUED

Sept 9 - 2Go texted saying ready for pick up

Sept 10 - Fiance picked up visa @ MOA

You are not alone :) We didn't book anything either until he gets the visa on hand as we don't want to risk paying for rebooking fee if there was any delays. Unfortunately don't relay on the website sometimes as it is not always accurate. Fiance already has visa on hand and status has not changed and his passport was never trackable on ustraveldocs or 2Go website.
