For sure DO NOT OPEN the San Rafael website. I did grab some info if anyone wants to call or email to get info (my cyber-soldiers whooped their butt). I also sent them an email listing the Trojans that are infecting their site.

What is not enforced?

It appears there is a new law in the Philippines requiring all flight originating from the Philippines to be purchased in the Philippines... at least that is how it appears.... haven't seen anything for fact, just what others keep posting on here.

It's not new. Not sure if it's a law or not. But I couldn't book with Korean Air 2 years ago because of it. They do not allow one-way tickets to be booked online or on the phone. Only RT.

Perhaps other airlines are following suit now? Niblet, have you booked a flight yet to confirm/deny this rumor? I know if anyone can make it happen, you can...

I have not booked yet,,,but when I worked for the airlines I traveld to MNL on a employee pass,,,then purchased a one way business class back to Alaska,,,no big deal

WHAT?! I just bought 2 tickets (for honey & I) through Orbitz travel website. We fly on March 31st from Cebu to Manila to Taipei to Honolulu - Philippine Airlines to China Airlines to Hawaiian Airlines. All they asked from me was our names and dates of birth. Are they really gonna "hold" honey at the airport because her ticket is "only" a one way flight??? Or make her buy a returning flight ticket?? She is coming to the USA to marry and live. Whats the sense in buying a round trip ticket?? Who do I contact for sure correct answers??

I bought a one way ticket for my wife with Hawaiian "back when", could have done it online but for what I was trying to do then was book it with my round trip and their system wouldn't do it (I could have booked it as a one way separately). So I called and they handled it in short order.

Not sure what the deal is but I see a fair number posting lately on this.

I bought a ticket for my honey just this last Tuesday Philippine time from a travel agent in SM mall Cebu. Got the first time immigrant discount, one way ticket Cebu to Dallas/Fort Worth. $892. No problem with the one way if you have the proper visa.

No big deal for you... you're not a PIC.

What does being a PIC have to do with NWA or ticket pricing?
