Hi, everyone! I really do not know if I am posting this question under the right forum. But here goes my query...

My son and I arrived here in the US last Aug. 15, 2013 under a CR1 and CR2 visa respectively. I could not recall if I was issued an I-94 at Detroit, our point of entry. When I applied for my Driver's License here, I am asked to produce my I-94 and I came across a website where i can access my I-94 number.

My problem is, the class of Admission on my and my son's Admission Stamp is "DMA" and not among those listed as classes of admission in the website. Have anyone of you here encountered this problem?

Thank you so much.

If you read this post http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/444234-i-94-web-not-found-cr-1-been-3-weeks-please-help/

It should clarify the matter for you.

Basically I-94 is only issued to non immigrants therefore you wouldn't be issued with one.

It is not where I breathe but where I love that I live.

You shouldn't need to produce an I-94 because you are a permanent resident. There should be a separate qualification for driver's license for permanent residents, to use their Permanent Resident Card (I-551). If you have not received the physical card yet, your entry visa, endorsed at entry, serves as a temporary I-551.
