I agree with the advice here as everyone does. But I just want to add that an annulment does not cost that much. It does cost quite a bit, but not as much as said here. Annulments typically cost around 5 to 8000.00 dollars. Around 300,000 pesos. Just thought I would chime in and give my .02 worth.

That may be but I know of a few Americans that had to pay off their Filipina spouses (and families) to get them to agree to the annulment. It cost one guy well over a million pesos by the time he was done paying off his spouse, lawyers, government officials, etc.... Everyone there has an open hand and yes, almost anything can be bought there if you have the money. Even annulments can be "purchased". The key word here is money.

My wife is in the Philippines we are waiting on her I-130 to be approved.

I spent 2 months in the Philippines before coming home to file her papers.

They do not believe in divorce and no matter where you marry you cant

get married again because even if you get married in the Philippine or

where ever it is also a legal and binding marriage here in the states.

Your cousin will have to get an annulment first because if he marries

again it will not be legal.
