Birth Certificates for I-130?

Hi again!

Do I need to send translated birth certificates for my two step-kids in the I-130 packet for the IR-1?

They would be accompanying their Mom (my Wife) on the trip to the USA, and the I-130 instructions on this point confused me a bit.

stepparent-stepchild relationship, you must file your

petition with a copy of the marriage certificate of the

stepparent to the child's natural parent showing that the

marriage occurred before the child's 18th birthday, copies

of documents showing that any prior marriages were

legally terminated and a copy of the stepchild's birth

certificate.

Yes, anything not in English needs to be translated when sent to the USCIS. Remember to not send originals.
