I am looking to celebrate our one year anniversary via a Caribbean cruise in November. The ship stops at Bahamas; US Virgin Islands and Turks & Caicos Islands. My wife received her 2 yr greencard. Will she be able to leave the ship at these ports and reenter the ship by showing her gc and Philippine passport? What are the potential issues?

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13

No issue getting back on the ship or in the U.S. Virgin Islands, not sure what the requirements are in the various other countries

I might just have to call the Philippine embassy in NY about the requirements in those countries

Philippines embassy isn't who ya need to call, need to check with embassies for the Bahamas and whatever other countries. It is possible that because of your wife's having a green card there is no issue. Canada is like that.

When you get off the ship, immigration officers to that country will let you know what is needed. It looks like all she need is GC, valid passport and marriage license since passport is still im maiden name.

Just an amazing one year anniversary. All that was needed was her green card and ship card and she was able to get on and off the ship at all the island ports. No hassles whatsoever. She did walk with her passport and marriage license however.
