During the application of our l-129F last Dec.'12, i wrote my Abu Dhabi address as my present address on all my application forms and Philippines as my home address.. I came home to the Philippines end of Feb.'13 for good and from thereon, everything i fill-in is my Philippines' home address.. So far, there was no issue about it..

Just dont forget to obtain a police clearance from Dubai at least before your UAE Residence visa will be cancelled.. It would be of your advantage to have it on hand, just like what i did.. wink.png

Yes, get your UAE Police Clearance before you leave. Take extra cash with you when you go. (Tell them it is less than you have). They sometimes claim there is a "service charge" for US translation. You also need to get an e-card to pay them the regular amount. Put your home address so you can interview in your home country - Philippines. My husband was working in Abu, and we initially applied there, but had to transfer to his home country as it was faster and he was ready to leave the UAE. The UAE is notoriously slow with AP wait times. See both portals with their feedback to make sure you know the pros and cons of each country.
