Am I Interview Ready?

Thanks very much TomandCatie and VLRWHS!! I am so happy everything is moving along.

And Catie congrats on finding out your interview date!!! You must be thrilled!!

Does anyone know how long it generally take between packet 3 being "logged" and packet 4 arriving?

I've seen very different estimates different places and have not been sure if the estimates are from the date it is signed for at the embassy and the date it is logged into the system....(Up until recently I thought logged and delivered were the same thing!)

And does anyone happen to know if our CEAC status will be updated again once we're assigned an interview date? Or is this IT until the actual interview....

Mine were logged from the beginning, SO taking in to account that they received everything on the 9th... it took 8 days (6 working days) to get my interview scheduled.

And yes, it was updated on CEAC to show the interview had been scheduled. So expect another update for that :)

Yes, that would be indeed, if the forms have been logged (tbc). But according to the tracker, no interview yet, I am still waiting for one to be scheduled.

I know, I'm still waiting too. Hopefully it won't be too long now...

Do you happen to know what exactly the tracker says once the interview date has been assigned? Is it something other than "READY"?

Mine says "Ready" still, and the underneath part hasn't changed. However, when the glitch stuff was going on, the first sentence changed to "Your interview has been scheduled" so it might say either one.

Looks good to me/similar to what other people bring. Although I am by NO means an expert on this, so hopefully someone who knows more will weigh in...

Also: question for the group -- when using a co-sponsor, does one need both passport copy AND birth certificate? Or would one of those things suffice on its own?
