"Touched"

I keep coming across the word "touched" on everyones timeline.

I assume it is an indication that your file is being looked at on that day, however;

are these notifications something you can look up online or by calling or having them

emailed to you?

Kindly direct me to the right thread if there is one already.

When you log on to the USCIS website, look at the date on your case (it changes when touched) - click on the case and read the details. In the case of touches usually the message is the same. When an approval happens on your case your date will change but the status message will be changed as well.

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp Go to this site and register if you have not done so already and you can keep up with your touches this way.
