Ok i just recieved noa2 and im wondering after I get the bgt embassy number when can I schedule the interview? The current embassy waiting time until interview is 55 days. Can I schedule the interview from the time nvc sends the file to colombia or what is the proper procedure?

I'm anxious and ive read a lot but nothing with their new online bogota appt website thing. I believe the new bogota web site only asks for passport and bgt number to make the interview appt.

Before making your appointment you need to be 100% sure that the embassy has received your case. So once the NVC gives you a date of when they mailed it to the embassy, you need to wait about 3-5 business days to give it time to arrive, then you need to contact the embassy via email to find out if they received it. If they say yes, then you can download the instructions package from their web site, pay the fee online and make the appointment as well.
