Fiancee in Mumbai has spent some time in Australia. How do we get PCC for that country?

Hi Guys, I really need some help here as we're not able to find out what the procedure for this is. My fiancee went to Mumbai passport office and spent the whole day there. They're telling her that it's going to take more than a month to get the PCC for Mumbai because the address on her passport is not the current address where she's living. Anyway, at least we have that going. Now the other thing is that she's spent some time in Australia (she got her masters from there) so if I understand correctly, she's gonna have to get a PCC for Australia as well. Anyone knows how to get that or what the process is for applying for that?

If she got her Masters from Australia it means she stayed there more then 6 months, yeah u need Police clearance certificate, u will get that from head quarter of police with interview letter of US EMBASSY...

My fiancé also studied in Malaysia...you need to call the Australian embassy in Mumbai and let them know what you need. For Malaysia, my fiancé has to submit some thing and it takes a few months to arrive (that is what they say but it could take shorter time), if it takes longer time, we might have to postpone our interview which would really suck

Also, how did you get the police clearance from Mumbai? Did your fiancé go to the office in Worli? My fiancé keeps switching housing as he lives in company housing and travels a lot so he doesn't have a stable address? Could you please advise what happened in your situation?
