hi everyone I badly need someone's opinion here =) I'm filling up the G-325A and I just wanna check on some points before I finalize it..

First, it's the "applicant's employment last 5 years"

here's my employment history

june 2006-march 2009 - college student

april2009-june2009-jobless

july2009 til present, i do have a job

so the time frame that is included in the last 5 years is 2008-2013

my question is: how will I write it down? because my fiance's telling me that in the "full name and address of employer" column i'll just put the name and address of my school then on the "Occupation" column i'll write COLLEGE STUDENT then on the date, i'll include the date i entered college which is june 2006 til march 2009. But in my opinion i'll just put "NONE" on the employer column then COLLEGE STUDENT on the occupation then same date june2006-march2009 on the date (or should i just start on the date included within the 5-year employment history which is january2008)?

and another thing, what about april2009-june2009 wherein I'm jobless, will I just put NONE again on the employer then UNEMPLOYED on the occupation column?

and last question, I wanted to print it out after i fill out the form but my problem is, my address won't fit in the box provided (seriously just one more letter then it'll be complete and i just hate it). so can i just hand-write the information that won't fit or should i just hand-write everything?

I hope i could get some answers as soon as possible because i'll be mailing my papers to my fiance on tuesday =)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! God bless us allsmile.png

Always be Honest and complete with your answers on all documents. I agree with your view that you include time as a student and also identify when not employed. Always include everything and be consistent with all your documents. If they see differences in the documents they will ask you and cause delays or even deny.

I am sure you are doing it all correctly. Evidence of a relationship is what they really want of course.

Best of luck.

My fiancée arrives in Los Angeles CA Monday night, Aug 26. We are super excited.

You dont have to put the dates that u were in college.... Being in college is not an employment... If ur current work or employment is the first and last employment u have that's all you have to put.

Second question, you can just hand-write ur address but make sure it's legible or you can add an additional sheet writing the item number or question number and your answer.

im just a bit confused coz the item says "applicant's employment last 5 years (if none, so state)" so i thought i should completely state the whole timeframe of my employment history (include the time im jobless). thank you for your reply =)

You win! You only list what is asked for which is EMPLOYMENT so when in college or not work you don't list that information.

You can hand write the address part (and type the rest) if you can make it all fit, no issue. Or you add an attachment noting the question # and add your complete address there... your choice.
