Hi,

I applied for I 751 for my husband and 2 kids this July 2013. We received a 2 biometrics appointment notice ( 1 for my husband and 1 for my older son), but we didn't receive any for our younger son. We tried to call USCIS and they told us that they do not see any biometrics appointment letter for my younger son.... how is that possible? They also told us that we can try to bring our son with us for the biometrics appintment and try to talk to the immigration officer to see if they will allow him to provide his biometrics.... is this normal?

Thanks for the help

Hi again. I believe children under 14 do not have to get biometrics, which would explain why your younger child did not receive a notice. See: http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/PN_I-751_feb2807.pdf
