I130 Still pending. Should I be worried?

Hi,

I am married to a LPR and I am currently in the US on a valid H1B visa. We filed I-130 and have a PD of July 2012. We filled at the California Service Center.

I see lots of I130 approvals (from the CSC too) and it looks like people who filed in 2013 have started getting approvals as well. We also sent out I-485 (AOS) on August 1, 2013 as the PD became current. Should I be worried about my pending I-130 and call up USCIS and find out what's going on with it or should I sit back and relax now that I have filed AOS?

Just wondering if they process the 130 faster for some categories or is it just by luck that some people get theirs approved really quickly?
