Hi guys, got my visa approved by the consul Aug 15, 2013. Checked my status online August 17 and it says AP, but I received a verbal approval from the consul and the releasing person told me to wait for the visa to be sent on the address that I put.

Should I be worried? Or them putting on AP is just normal since they said everything looks good and I was able to submit all the required documents needed.

It seems that it is a normal status change on the tracking website. Members who have been approved have asked this a lot and usually a day or two later it changes to "ISSUED". There have been exceptions though and some have taken a week or two.

Congratulations on your approval though!! :)

Thanks very much for your input. I was expecting to see changes today, but Manila US embassy is closed due to flooding. So, Im hoping for tomorrow.

Thank you.

Thank you very much. I hope so too. Hoping Manila embassy will get back on their normal operation.

We are going through the very same thing. My lady had her interview on Aug 12 and had no issues, being verbally told she was approved. I check the CEAC website on Aug 15 and it said “ready” then on the 16 it was changed to AP. I, am also very, very stressed and don’t know what to think. My Lady made a friend while waiting and she got her visa yesterday… AHHHH!!! Nothing to do but wait and pray. I may call the Embassy at the end of the week if nothing changes.
