Interview today but USEM closed

thank you for sharing Jay. I was able to set up an appointment at Aug26 as well. There are so many slots available.. I was wondering if they opened this slot to accommodate everyone who wasn't able to show up this week.. as far as I could remember, Aug26 was already closed. Good Thing they did this for us!

Bear & Dodge - try to call the hotline tom if still unsuccessful via online. i think they will be giving you the same slot.

Praying hard that this rain will be gone. Hoping for the best for all of us waiting.

It seems the receipt number is the difference. every other piece of information was there except receipt number

I just click the schedule interview then all the available dated are there like what Jay shared. I think those open slots will accomodate all of us who weren't able to attend.

I did see the information again but i just left it as it is. Its like when you are rescheduling a new appointment. Last page will be the calendar then the confirmation.

Ours is different. Our last page would ask us to put on the receipt number. Its blank.

Well for now I would say be patient, until the embassy staff can update ALL the accounts involved. The embassy is still closed so if any staff is there working I doubt there are many of them.

I guess so. I was all drenched last aug 19... Crossed 3 flooded areas.... Oh I'm just on the edge, sorry for complaining... Will do my best to be patient.

Don't worry everyone who experienced this feels the same. My fiance was also drenched yesterday and took him all day to get home. He woke up at 2am and got home at 6pm. Wishing that the embassy had some kind of courtesy to let people know that they are closed Mon-Tues instead of leaving people wondering if they are open or not. If the rain was really bad on Sunday they could have at least made a decision to close it and announce it the night before on their Facebook page and they should have done the same on Tuesday.

Looks like it'll be a party on the 26th! We're scheduled for 7:30am also, although I made my appointment over a month ago. Maybe with all the new interviews the CO's will cut the interviews short to get everyone done.

Also, just got a email from Phil Air, my flight got rescheduled 6 hours later, so arriving at 10:45 on Thursday. Hope the waters have gone down enough to get to my hotel by then. Staying at the Hotel H2O for the first time, hope we can walk it with out needing swim wear!
