No Packet from Casablanca yet

Our case was approved in June 11th, 2013, and NVC send packet to Casablanca on July 5th, 2013. We have not received any letter or packet from Casablanca. Is this normal?, how long does usually take to get the packet with interview date from Casablanca?

Also Casablanca Embassy accepts cosponsor?

Thanks for any information, We are so frustrated and tired of waiting.

It took around 15 days for us, NVC sent our case on the 19th June and we got our package on the 5th July. But again this depends on each case, and lately the consulate seems to set a new visa appointment system...(http://morocco.usembassy.gov/visa2013.html), and lately they tend to ignore emails, at least the ones we sent them. So your best bet is to wait till they contact you or your fiancé, or again try to call them at +212-522-26-45-50.

I guess Casablanca consulate accepts a cosponsor if you need it.

Hi, called the Consulate in Casablanca today, I tried many times, and finally got an answer. They said, they received the packet from NVC, and they are going to send a letter to my fiancee by the end of September, probably with an interview date for mid October.

I asked, why is taking so long, they said is because they have so much work to do. At least I know the status of our case.

If you need to talk to the consulate try hard, they don't answer the phone easily.

Any comments are welcome.

did anybody used the new system for a K1 visa, i tried to create a profile but when they ask you about your visa type you can't find the K1 visa option. any suggestions?

i think that u should keep in contact with nvc to fnd out the interview date and find out the next steps. My husband and I never recived a packet of Casablanca.

Well Nina, my understanding after they start this new online application system is that you set up the interview yourself then have the medical done. so it is up to you to schedule the interview, am i wrong?

I asked them if they are going to set up an appointment, and they say yes they will. But I'm going to keep calling them until I heard an appoinment date. Ahhh I'm getting nervous about this, is been eight months already.

salam! we are in the same boat but i havent contacted anyone just trying to be patient as of right now but starting to get worried. and ours is a little behind yours, ours was mailed to Casa Aug 8 and we havnt heard anything to insha'allah we will soon :-)
