I created a timeline on vj. I wrote my NOA1 and the timeline says when I am supposed to get my NOA2. Can you tell me on your experience, did you get NOA2 at the time which timeline told you? Or it was much later? I want to know if mostly people get NOA2 at the time that timeline says. And also if the cases that it took longer are just rare.

it's a simple estimate based on other folks completing their timelines - i think mine was about a month off.

Keep in mind that your timeline can change throughout your journey, depending on whether the service centers slow down or speed up with approvals. When I created my timeline in April 2012, it told me I would receive my NOA2 in mid-July. Then the big slow-down happened at VSC, and the timeline pushed my NOA2 date further and further out until the end of September 2012.

My actual NOA2 date was on August 30.

Mine gave me a time range that was something like July 19th-August 2nd.. We sure got approved on August 2nd. But I would say that's more of a funny coincidence. No case is like the other. But in some cases it can be a good estimate date. Never ever count on it tho.
