NOA2 Expiration Date

Hey, my fiance and I were just wondering about the date given on the NOA2 letter stating it will expire after four months of this date.

As stated, a notarized letter of intent is required at interview if this date is passed, but we were wondering if having the fiance attend the interview would negate the need for this?

We're currently both in the UK together waiting for the interview and notaries seems to be harder to find here than in the US, plus more expensive. Just wondering if anybody had any info.

Sounds fine. Nobody has done that and posted it and most don't go past their petition validity. Make sure you make proper arrangements in advance for your fiancé to be admitted to the embassy. They just need to know she is still on board to marry you. Take a non notarized letter and let the officer witness her signing if he is persnickety. I doubt it will come to that.
