My fiancee got the I-797 Notice of action to say that our I-129f petition for fiance was approved

Approval Notice From 05/01/2013 to 08/30/2013

she also got a Letter from the Bureau of consular affairs dated may 14th 2013, with a INS receipt number barcode and casenumber

at the end it says that I will receive a packet with instructions on how to apply for the K1 visa

Its now Aug 13 almost 3 months I have had no packet to my london address

how long did it take all of you to get your packets should I be worried?

Your case is not normal. Call the Dept of state in the US and ask them if London has your case file and when they sent your letter. 202-663-1225 press 1, then 0. You don't get a packet. It is a letter. It is all on the Internet and you can get started without the letter.

This post has a list that will help you know things to be doing right now. The police certificate link has changed but is corrected a few posts down. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/. Also the US fiancé will need to send a new letter of intent that is notarized to the UK fiance because your petition is about to expire. That goes to the interview.

This posts guides you to your "packet 3" instructions. Start working on it. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/?p=5137390
