One of the items listed on the CFO website for Manila is original and photocopy of visa. How do you get your CFO briefing if you're not going to have the visa until after the interview?

You have to go to CFO twice. Once for the seminar and once after she has visa in hand to get it stamped by CFO.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Unless of course you go after you get the VISA, then only one trip is required. We're considering that option.

On a related question, does anyone know if you can go to the seminar well in advance of the interview, lets's say 1 month? I haven't heard of an "expiration" date for the seminar. The reason I ask is because we might do the CFO at the same time as the medical exam, about a month before the interview.

FYI - Lirio went to CFO Seminar yesterday in Manila. Here are a couple things you might want to know:

-- they've moved the seminar to a different location (2nd floor of the PCI Bank Building on Taft Ave across the street from LaSalle Univ.)

-- they run about 3 hours and have a morning (10am) and afternoon (1pm) session

-- they require passport and birth certificate

-- your fiancee will need to know your personal information including your

-- full name

-- DOB

-- Birthplace

-- Mother's Maiden Name

-- Occupation

-- Religion

-- Home Address and Phone Number

-- If you have previously divorced, they will require a copy of the divorce paperwork

-- they also want to see pictures of you together

If you are missing any of the required information/documents, they will still allow you to go through the seminar, but they will not issue your certificate until you return with the required info/docs.
