I made 3 copies when I sent my info to NVC. I included one set of copies with originals. I kept one copy for my records and the other will go with me to interview. Whenever they decide to complete my case..LOL!! good luck.

The interview notice will tell you what document you need to bring. This form tends to be confusing, because it states all possible require document for the interview, but if you read carefully each item have a CODE represented by a letter. Each letter have a meaning as well as explaining what you need to bring. One thing for sure you are require to bring the passport to the interview and a receipt of a filing fee that you can get by making the payment at the Banco Popular.

From personal experience.... As a rule of thumbs for USCIS and NVC.... When you originally submitted your Petition if you sent the original document you are not require to bring it to the interview. I only brought to the interview anything I did not sent with the original document such as, police record, and passport.

it's true they list all the possible documents required but they tell you via the letter what they already have and what you need to bring based on the CODE represented by each letter as mentioned above. They pretty much had everything on the list for us already but my husband brought copies anyway just in case but ended up not needing them.

Good luck!
