Is it allowed for petitioner to go with beneficiary to the interview? (Islamabad embassy).

I would like to go if it could be of any help at all, otherwise I would prefer to go after wife has got her visa and come back with her.

your presence isn't required

Yes, it is allowed.

I am my husbands petitioner and I went along with him.

They ONLY allow petitioners, therefore you are allowed to go with her.

I had posted something similar about going with my husband and I got Positive comments about visiting the embassy with my husband.

Like a member said, it definetly is Moral support so be there with her.
