Setting Interview

When setting the interview via website, step#5 asks for "Priority Date". What is this? The NOA1 letter has a priority date but its blank.

The RECEIVED DATE noted on the first 797 you received. No one knows what day you received it in the mail.

Like I said, there is no "RECEIVED DATE" on the 797 so I assume you mean "RECEIPT DATE"? Though meaning the same thing referring to the exact wording on the form is helpful.

On the NOA1 the RECEIVED DATE is the 3rd line down in the middle, just to the right of the RECEIPT NUMBER.

Thank you Hank. My form is different and its the I-797 not I-797C.

I bet the I-797C was sent to the lawyer.
