Hi all. We are considering these proofs at the time of interview.

We had our ring ceremony in 2011 2 yrs back. We do have one album its with my foreign fiance. But we dont have the recipt of the venue. And we tried to contact the ppl from the hotel they refused to even give us confirmation letter. What should we do now?

Might be but not sure I will b able to get the confirmation letter from the goldsmith from whom we purchased ring.(both did from seperate places). If we consider we dont get confirmation from both the places. What should we do?

I thought why not get the confirmation signatures from as many guests possible who attended the ring ceremony.. Is that a good or bad Idea?

Please do reply..

They asked me for the following evidence. Were you asked for any? Did you get a RFE? Its a good sign and shows hat the case is moving.

1. Photos from the ceremony

2. Proof that i visited her in the last 2 years

3. Credit card reciepts from our meeting

4. Affidavit from family members who attended the ring ceremony

5. Passport copy with exit and entry stamps

6. Proof of US citizenship

7. Intent to marry within 90 days

8. Copy of Indian Visa on my passport.

In your case if you have the pictures from the ceremony and affidavits (must be Notorized) from the people (not close family) who attended the ceremony, then its good. Maker sure that the people who you get the affidavits from are in the pictures.

I guess we are in the same boat. I got an RFE and was asked for these items. I dont even know if they will need to see this stuff during interview.

What all goes in packet 3? I just want to be ready.

They ask you to bring to the interview the on-going proof, as for my fiancé and I it should be proof after we filed our petition which we have only emails, letters, cards, iMessage, call logs.

At the interview i will not bring the package that my fiancé sent to uscis (passport stamp, airplane tickets, ring receipt) because we know that uscis got that and studied it and that's why they approved our petition.
