So each tax year we owe tax but paid it all when we filed it. IRS never send us receipt or anything. Im asking VJ gurus out there to see if anyone has experienced this and went in interview without IO asking to see the proof of payment? I really don't know how to show that or does it say any where on the transcript it's paid? Just want to be prepared.

There are actually two kinds of transcripts you can order from the IRS - a return transcript and an account transcript. The account transcript will show any outstanding amounts owed.

DON'T PANIC
