Just found that out.

Another question though..

When they want educational institutes, do they mean every school? Or just Universities?

The book that I have (Fiance & Marriage Visas: A Couple's Guide to U.S. Immigration), which gives examples of filled-out forms, only shows universities listed on the example form. I only put universities on my DS-230 Part 1 and they accepted my Packet 3 without issue. :)

I put them all down!! The benefits of going straight into the Cdn Armed Forces from high school, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I went all the way back - but then again, I went to school until the age of 17 in another country so I thought it better to give them all the info they might want.

I went back only to university and graduate school. I saw in another post that if you went also to technical school or trade school that should be put down as well.

As far as the employment, attach a page - I think the form itself says something about that. I did have to attach some other things, so I made a Word document with my case number as a header on each page.

Well I listed university only, and added a really similar attachment as my G325 for the employment question, and faxed 'er back this morning.

I'll email tomorrow and "make sure they got the fax" ;)

If there's a problem with the DS230, will they let me know so I can send it again?
