AOS and IV Documents

Hi Guys,

Submitted my DS-260 over 2 weeks ago and had to resend the documents this past Sunday. Everything was done electronically, as I opted in to EP. Can anyone tell me if the NVC notifies you of the receipt of all of your applications and documents? I have not heard anything from them yet.

You should get an automatic response within 24 hours saying they received your documents and to give them 20 days to review the documents. I have had to call the NVC to make sure that the documents were reviewed and approved. Not sure they give you an approval of the documents individually or just an overall Case Complete....I'm still waiting for this. I received a verbal approval of my IV documents when I called to inquire about the checklist I received for the AOS.

Very odd that I never got any response other than the typical "thanks for the email" email. I will call tomorrow and find out whats going on. I have send two separate files and nothing on both.

Whenever I emailed them, they responded with am email saying they received the documents and would get back to me within 20 days. I would call and make sure they received it, and double check the email address.

I know it got to them, because I did get that auto email that said they got the email.

Called twice this morning. First agent was useless and didn't even really check.

The second was great, and she said it looks like they are reviewing some documents, although it doesn't say what documents. Can I assume that they got them or should I inquire with someone else?

Just as an FYI to people.... Spoke to NVC on Monday about my case after receiving a blank checklist (which meant nothing by the way). They don't always send an email once documents are received. My case is almost complete and they are just reviewing my AOS without one email from them indicating that they got all of the stuff.

So, for those out there that don't get the email. DONT WORRY!
