1) sure she can

2) she can enter, tho how long she'd be able to stay depends on the IO at the airport

3) her visa can't be canceled just because she got married to the LPR

she can stay for couple of weeks with me then she will come back

1)if i apply her case as f2a will her visit visa be cancelled

thanks

No. Her visa can't be canceled just because you started petition for her.

i was of the view that if you start a petition as f2a her visit visa will be cancelled

i thought that you can have only one status as visitor visa and when you change it to f2a your visit visa will be cancelled .

now as you have said her visit visa wont expire when i apply her f2a that means that she can travel and stay with me for ma 6 months as long as her case is not finalised as f2a

is that right

thanks for your help

She won't have any other visa but a visitor visa (for now).

You start a petition for her, but she still can visit you as a visitor before she gets the immigrant visa in her passport and use it to come and stay with you forever.

There's even the sticky "Yes, you can visit!" where people share their experience with visiting the US while being petitioned.

ok when she should inform the authorities tht she has got married ,

1 when she enters the usa on a visit viasa as shegot married after getting the visit visa

2 or she has to tell the immigration people about the change in her staus stright away .

3 i want to file herpetition in the usa

whats the best way to move forward.

thanks
