Good day everyone.

My wife and I are finalizing our travel plans and will arrive in Manila later this week.

Our understanding is that PAL's authorized CHECK-IN weight is 10KG or 22LBS per person.

Their CARRY-ON weight limit is 7KG or 15LBS per person.

We will arive at NAIA International terminal and check-in at the Domestic terminal overweight. We wish to use PAL Cargo as we understand it's in very close proximity to the International terminal and their rates are very low compared to PAL.

We are unable to locate their RATES. We are unable to navigate to an official link that specifies their rates. Can anyone help by: A/ Either providing us with a link to view their rates or B/ Provide us their rates if you've recently used them.

For some reason, we think their rates are 30 PHP per kilo as opposed to PAL's overweight charges which are 200 PHP per kilo...quite a savings!

Your input would be greatly appreciaited.

Thank you,

Dan/Chel

I read the checked luggage was 23 kg between USA and Philippines, 7 kg is correct for carry-on. Inter-island is different.. of course.

Thanks Hank. Sorry, I should have specified. I was referring to traveling from Manila to Mindanao island (Economy/Fiesta Deal) which is a domestic flight and not between the US and Manila.

Checked baggage for domestic is 10KG. At any rate, we'll be overweight and were hoping someone had experience with PAL Cargo rates and if they had a link that specifies such.

Thanks

Thank you DaRoq, yes, we found that link also. Hmmm, perhaps another member will chime in that has used them recently.

Thanks

My experienced with pal cargo is not recent but may 2011 and nov 2012 and I am from visayas....anyhow just want to share....I paid about 600 to 800 php for one bag weighng 20 kilos at pal cargo from Manla to negros both in 2011 and 2012....check in at the pal cargo should be made at least 3 hours before the scheduled flight to ensure same time arrival...this is the best way to save and convenient since pal cargo is very near pal international and domestic airport.
