Thankfully the heat in Phoenix is a dry heat and most often not humid as is in many parts of the Philippines. Don't stay indoors, explore early mornings or late evenings. :-)

anyway.. James and Chel and to your baby, again, have a safe flight, take care & have fun! God Bless! :)

My K1 fiancee and her 8 year old K2 son will be flying out of NAIA on Tuesday morning. It looks like the Travel Tax fees will be 1620 for her and 810 for him. Can she pay this travel tax at the airport. It looks like there is an office there in the departure area of NAIA. Her flight is pretty early in the AM too. Is this: NAIA 1 TRAVEL TAX

Departure Lobby NAIA
Parañaque City
Tel. Nos.:(+0632) 879-6038

a place inside of the airport where she can simply pay the travel tax before (or after) checking her baggage with the airline?

Thanks to everyone who has helped us learn about this process over the past 12 months.

Yes, no problem. After entering the terminal the counter is at the front in between the two entry doors & luggage scanners (do this first). After paying the travel tax, check in with the airlines.

I didn't consider that the Tieza office inside the departure area of Terminal 1 at NAIA might not be open early in the morning. My fiancee's flight leaves at 7:48 AM this Tuesday, and we hoped to have her pay the travel tax fee when she arrived at the airport at about 5:30 AM. I tried to call from the USA just now. Tried several of the Tieza phone numbers, but got no answer. Does anyone know how early the Tieza counter will be open at NAIA on a weekday morning?
