So my question is....

I used to live in Colorado, US and now I've moved to Texas because I got a better job down here. My parents are still staying at my Colorado address so all my mails have been going there... I just received the email from NVC to send in the I-864 and all the other supporting documentations. My current employment letter will be coming from Texas. Is that gonna create problems? Do I need to let NVC know about the address change from Colorado to Texas?

Help please :)

If you are a US citizen, you do not have to notify them, unless you have a pending petition.

It's not just about getting and forwarding your mail, which your parents can probably do for you. It's about the field office where your petition will go to (if at all). Different state=different office.

If you moved permanently or for a long time, I would file change of address.

I am a US citizen... I have my husband's spouses visa in process with NVC.... I have moved here permanently...

Is it gonna delay the process?

I don't know about delay. I filed change of address a months ago, and that's when my petition first appeared in tracking. Haven't gotten any more updates since. I suppose if your petition had already been transferred to a field office, there might be a delay when they transfer it to the office in your current state. If it sits at NBC, it shouldn't matter.

But looks like yours is already with NVC. Not sure about that... I'd file anyway:)
